The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics
and Sciences (ABARES) is conducting the next round of its five yearly national
survey of Australia’s wood processing sector. The survey seeks to collect
information on the state of the wood processing sector in Australia in 2020-21, as
well as gathering insights into future opportunities and challenges.
Results and analysis from the current survey will be
published and used by ABARES to inform policies and programs for Australia’s
sustainable forest industries. A copy of the previous report, from 2016-17, can be accessed
